So about two weeks ago, I finally did it – I’ve got a piercing. Honestly, I wanted this since two years now and never got my butt to a tattoo and piercing studio. This Christmas, as you can also see in my What I got for Christmas post, I got a gift card to go to a piercing studio, so I didn’t had to pay a single cent. Still it took me quite a while since Christmas to get it done. But anyway, long story short, looookkkk at my piercing!!!
Let’s talk about my experience: First of all, if you’re thinking of getting one, too, please, please go to a professional piecer and a real studio. I know stores like Claire’s also offer to pierce but I just liked that this guy knew exactly what to do, made sure my ear was okay, gave me tips what to do when something goes wrong and told me what disinfectant to buy. Also he offered that I could come back about 6 weeks later to get my ear checked and be sure that everything is alright.
Second the pain, I know this is like THE reason to not get a piercing and it was like nothing and totally worth it. I did of course feel it and some little pain lasted for a few days but just when I touched it what you shouldn’t do anyway. But if you take great care of it and don’t turn and move the piercing too much, you’ll be fine.
If you have sensitive skin, please note that the piercing that you put in shouldn’t be fake in order to prevent any irritation.
Hope you like my piercing, too. I (in case you didn’t get it because I did not mentioned it like a 100 times) looooovvee it and I’m so glad that I finally was able to get it done <3.
